A digital hub for Telford’s voluntary sector, designed to find funding before it’s missed

Voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations in Telford and Wrekin needed one place to find each other, and to be found. AspireVita built the VCSE Collaborative Hub, live at twvcse.org, where any local organisation can register, manage its own profile and appear in a searchable public directory.

Key facts

  • Live at twvcse.org

  • A directory searchable four ways

  • Every consent recorded with an audit trail

What was the challenge?

Small charities rarely have time to keep directories up to date or to watch for funding. Good opportunities get missed because no one was watching.

What did we build?

  • Self-service registration and profiles, approved by the Alliance’s team before they go live.
  • A public directory searchable four ways: service, who it helps, area and type of activity.
  • Bulk email for the Alliance, with opt-outs handled properly.
  • Consent records with a full audit trail, so the Alliance can show how it handles personal data.

Where does AI come in?

We also mapped out how the hub could grow. It’s designed to become an AI opportunity engine that scans tenders and grants, summarises each one in plain English, and matches it to the organisations best placed to bid, including partners for joint bids.

How do the parts fit together?
