AI strategy and assessment

An assessment of your data and systems, and a roadmap of the AI projects worth doing, for leaders who have to justify the investment before they commit.

You get

A readiness scorecard, ranked use cases and a roadmap

After the call

A written proposal, usually within a week

What problems does an AI assessment solve?

It tells you what to build first and whether your data can support it, before you commit a budget.

  • Pilots that never reach production

Several proofs of concept are running, and none is in daily use.

  • Data that isn’t ready

The data a model needs is spread across systems or kept in spreadsheets.

  • Plans that stall at review

A promising idea fails security, compliance or budget sign-off late in the day.

What do you get from an AI assessment?

Written findings you can act on, one at the end of each phase.

  • An AI readiness scorecard

How ready your data, systems and team are, with a gap analysis of what to close first.

  • Prioritised use cases

The opportunities ranked by business value and technical feasibility, with ROI estimates.

  • A roadmap and business case

The architecture, the build or buy choices, the timeline and the budget for the projects worth doing.

  • An executive summary

The findings and recommendations in a short read for the people who decide.

How does the assessment run?

Three phases, each with a deliverable you can act on.

  1. Audit

We review your data and systems, interview the people involved and assess technical readiness.

  2. Identify

We work with your team to find the opportunities and rank them by feasibility and value.

  3. Roadmap

We set out the architecture, the build or buy choices, the timeline and the budget.

How do we start?

With a call, then a written proposal.

  1. A free 30-minute call

We talk through what you want to achieve, the systems involved and your timeline.

  2. A written proposal

We send a written proposal with the scope, timeline and cost, usually within a week.

Frequently asked questions

Do we need clean data before we start?

No. The audit finds out how ready your data is and what it would take to close the gaps.

Will you recommend building or buying?

The roadmap recommends what fits each use case: an off-the-shelf tool, a custom build, or waiting until the data is ready.

Can you stay involved after the roadmap?

Yes. We offer ongoing advisory, with strategic oversight, support choosing vendors and quarterly strategy reviews, and we can build what the roadmap recommends.

How long does it take?

It depends on the scope. The written proposal after the call sets out the timeline for your project.

How much does it cost?

Every project is scoped individually, so there is no price list. After the free 30-minute call we send a written proposal with the scope, timeline and cost, usually within a week.
